SummaLime Ale is a Fruit Beer brewed by 603 Brewery, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a shaker pint glass from a can.

Appearance

Pours a cloudy burnt orange with an inch-thick cap of off-white foam that reduces slowly. A touch of residue clings to the glass.

Aroma

The aroma is bright and fruity with a scent of lime juice.

Flavor

The palate begins with a mild taste of floral hops and shifts towards a citrus lime finish.

Mouthfeel

Mouthfeel has a less-than medium body with moderate carbonation.

Overall

If you enjoy a fruit beer, the SummaLime Ale packs a lot of juicy lime flavor at a tiny 4.5% ABV. Though there is a touch of phenols on the back end, this is nice brew to start your session.
