Robust Porter is an American Porter brewed by Smuttynose Brewing Company, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a mug from a bottle.

Appearance

The ale pours a mahogany hue and is topped by an inch-thick, mocha-colored head that offers modest retention. A lovely lattice of sticky lacing clings to the glass during reduction.

Aroma

The aroma has a welcoming scent of dark malts and coffee.
