Russian River Brewing Company was founded by Korbel Champagne Cellars in Guerneville, California, in 1997. Gary Heck hired Vinnie as the brewery’s brewmaster and initially sole employee. The New England IPA style is relatively new and it’s also known as a Hazy IPA. Its grist may include oats, wheat or other adjuncts to promote haziness.
