Appearance
The ale pours a clear and deep ruby red; topped by a generous stack of pillow cream-colored foam that shows good retention. Gobs of sticky lace cling to the sides of the glass.
Aroma
The aroma wafts a heady blend of caramel, citrus, pine, and just a bit of booze.
Flavor
Hops are front and center with bright grapefruit citrus over toasted bread that’s slightly burnt. The palate crests to a stronger hop bite that’s floral with resin. Its bitterness lingers through the finish and is mixed with sweet caramel and booze.
Mouthfeel
Its feel is relatively smooth and has a medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Its finish is dry and warming.

Overall
The appearance is fine and its feel runs a little hot but is otherwise fine. The aroma is pleasant and its palate is superb. IBUs aplenty for the hopheads but a substantial malt base balances the brew nicely. The use of roasted barley complements the hop flavors quite well. ReDANKulous is a wonderful DIPA.
