Prairie-vous Français, a Belgian-style Saison brewed by Prairie Artisan Ales

Prairie-vous Français is a Belgian-style Saison brewed by Prairie Artisan Ales, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a tulip glass from a bottle.

The Saison pours a hazy straw color and is topped by thick and loose foamy white head that offers modest retention.

The aroma is bright with lemon zest and funky Brettanomyces.

The palate is tart and mildly funky with a lemon and Brettanomyces. Finishes with a gentle bite of hops.

Its feel is crisp and dry with a body that’s light and effervescent.

So much flavor packed into a surprisingly low ABV could make this a great session ale. Regardless of when you choose to drink it, Prairie-vous Français is a very satisfying beer.
