Jibe is a Session IPA brewed by Green Flash Brewing Co., and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the ale was served in a chalice from a can.

Appearance

The beer pours a hazy gold and is topped by a half-inch thick bubbly white cap that persists briefly. A smattering of residue coats the sides of the glass.

Aroma

The aroma is faint with a pleasant scent of citrus.

Flavor

The palate is hop-forward and its trio of hops dominate with flavors of lemon and grapefruit.

Mouthfeel

Mouthfeel is expectedly light and crisp with ample carbonation. Finishes dryly.

Overall

Hopheads looking for a session beer will appreciate the hoppy kick from the Jibe Session IPA. Others might find it to be a bit one dimensional and some added malt couldn’t hurt. Regardless, the Jibe is a light and refreshing brew.
