Hofbräu Winter Spezial is a German Doppelbock brewed by Hofbräu München, and for the purposes of this craft beer review, the lager was served in a mug from a bottle.

Appearance

The lager pours a dark brown with a thick cream-colored head that withdraws slowly and leaves behind a smattering of lace.

Aroma

The aroma is slight but offers a scent of dark fruits and roasted malt.
