The latest limited release from Beer Lab HI is available this weekend. The Honolulu-based brewery has dropped the “Chai Yo, Thai Tea & Milk Sugar Ale”, a Belgian-style Blond Ale, on Friday, July 17th. Four packs of 16 oz. cans are available for purchase online and at the brewery’s three locations.
The Chai Yo Belgian-style Blond Ale was brewed with 100 pounds of Thai tea and milk sugar
With an ABV of 7.2%, the Chai Yo is a crisp and refreshing Blond Ale that’s been brewed with 100 pounds of Thai tea and milk sugar. The beer was inspired from the brewer’s ritual of ordering a Thai iced tea to pair with their favorite panang curry dish. From there, the idea of bringing together the flavors of Thai iced tea and beer was born.
“We’re bringing together another two favorite simplicities in life,” the brewery stated.
Additionally, Beer Lab HI is releasing their iteration of the “Black Is Beautiful” Imperial Stout, representing the coming together of the brewing community for the greater good of change. All proceeds will be donated to the Popolo Project, a Hawaii based nonprofit that works to redefine what it means to be black in Hawaii.
Like Chai Yo, the Black Is Beautiful Imperial Stout is available at all Beer Lab HI location in four packs of 16 oz. cans.
