Lion Little World Beverages

Lion Little World Beverages was first established as “Lion Global Markets” in 2015 and is focused on growing a portfolio of premium, crafted beverages in new markets outside Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

We’re creating a collective of like-minded people who will keep doing what they do best – creating beverages and unique customer experiences – while benefiting from being part of a larger platform that helps them continue to pursue their passion for craft.

The Lion Little World Beverages model brings together our brands, our people and our founders, bound together by a common cultural thread that includes a commitment to community and sustainability.

U.S Craft Beer

We entered the world’s largest craft beer market in 2019, opening our first Little Creatures microbrewery on U.S. soil in Mission Bay, San Francisco.

U.K. & Europe Craft Beer

Our team has recently acquired UK craft beer brands, Fourpure and Magic Rock and opened our first Little Creatures hospitality venue in Kings Cross, London in 2018.

Asia Craft Beer

In 2016 we opened our first Little Creatures overseas venue and micro-brewery in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong, to take advantage of Asia’s growing interest in quality and trusted Australian products and a fast-developing craft beer scene. Following our success in Hong Kong, we opened the doors at Little Creatures Mohamed Ali Lane in Singapore in 2018.

U.S. Fine Wine

Our U.S. wine portfolio represents a collection of iconic wineries that are recognized as benchmarks for their regions including Argyle Winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, MacRostie Winery from the Sonoma Coast, and Markham Vineyards in the Napa Valley. Our team imports the award-winning wines of Wither Hills from Marlborough, New Zealand, and we represent the fast growing, contemporary wine brands of TEXTBOOK Napa Valley and The Counselor from the Alexander Valley.

Why Little World Beverages?

As the name suggests, our approach is all about bringing our “little worlds” of craft together from distinctive cities and regions around the globe.

It has some history for us too. “Little World Beverages” was the pre-eminent name in craft brewing in Australia as the first craft brewer to be listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Its original brand, Little Creatures, has gone on to become one of Australia’s most loved craft beer exports under Lion’s ownership, taking a little of our best brewing to the world. We intend to inject the same pioneering spirit into our new craft ventures in other parts of the world.
