Brewers Association

The Brewers Association is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit trade association. The association is an organization of brewers, for brewers and by brewers. More than 5,261 U.S. brewery members and 46,000 members of the American Homebrewers Association are joined by members of the allied trade, beer wholesalers, retailers, individuals, other associate members and the Brewers Association staff to make up the Brewers Association.

Advocacy

The Brewers Association believes craft brewers deserve a level playing field. The association advocates for you in Washington, D.C., and backs state guilds in all 50 states to ensure that your brewery gets a fair shake.

Independence

It matters. With the independent craft brewer seal and supporting initiatives, the Brewers Association brings clarity and transparency to the marketplace, and drives beer drinker awareness of—and preference for—independent beer.

Best Practices

Brewing great beer is just one element of running a successful brewery. The Brewers Association provides best-practice guidance around safety, diversity, sustainability, and more in the Resource Hub to strengthen your business and ensure its long-term health.

Community

The craft brewing community is famous for its collegial nature. The Brewers Association works to build on this cooperative spirit by bringing people together at events like the Craft Brewers Conference® and sharing best practices through The New Brewer®, the BA Forum, and other publications.

Supply Chain Health

Quality ingredients and materials are essential to your livelihood. The Brewers Association invests in scientific research, nurtures relationships with key agricultural partners, and supports policies that ensure access to healthy and sustainable raw materials.

Brewing Excellence

The pursuit of quality is an integral part of 10,000 years of brewing history. We support this tradition by providing educational resources that help brewers refine their craft and deliver consistently delicious beer to their fans.
