Wolverine State Brewing Co. creates balanced, unique, and innovative lagers. Additionally, our kitchen turns out some of the best BBQ around — we smoke all of our own meats in house and feature a rotating array of fresh, local, seasonal foods.
Wolverine State Brewing was founded in 2006, and began the Lager Revolution with the production of Premium Lager. The brewing facility opened at 2019 West Stadium a few years later, and in 2010, the taproom opened at the same location.
Since then, we have expanded our recipe book to more than 65 different lagers that encompass a huge variety of styles — from the fiercely smooth and malty Massacre BB-aged Imperial Dark Lager to the award-winning Gulo Gulo India-style Pale Lager to our classic Oktoberfest.
We smoke all of our meats in-house, and in addition to year-round standbys like our pulled pork nachos, our menu features seasonally-rotating specials made with local ingredients whenever possible.
Wolverine State Brewing is a proud member of the West Side community and of Ann Arbor as a whole — come on over and have a beer with us!

For years, small and independent U.S. craft breweries have been turning the beer world upside down. Their ability to take risks, innovate flavors and build better communities has made the U.S. the craft beer capital of the world.
