Threes Brewing

Threes Brewing is a Brooklyn-based brewery known for crafting approachable beers that balance simplicity and complexity, with a focus on lagers, hop-forward American ales and mixed culture beers.

Threes Brewing aspires to connect people to each other and themselves, cultivating memorable experiences that celebrate life, creativity, and human interaction, at the junction where good beer and inviting public space converge.

In addition to selling beer in over 150 bars, restaurants and shops across New York State, Threes Brewing runs a non-traditional tap room and event space in Gowanus, as well as a satellite bar and event space in Greenpoint.

In addition to serving beer, cocktails, and food, their spaces hosts diverse cultural and community programming, as well as private events. Threes is proud to have been named the “Best Brewery and Beer Bar” in NYC by bon appétit magazine.

Gowanus Brewpub

The brewery and brewpub opened together in 2014 and the intention was to create a space warm and welcoming to all. It’s our aim to create a pillar that will be here for a generation to come; a place where patrons become new neighbors in an old neighborhood.

The bar menu at Threes Brewing was conceived with a view toward broadening the scope of what a brewpub is expected to offer. Our beer list reflects the collaborative nature of our best intentions; our wines & cocktails reflect the breadth of our many interests.

A good bar is not just about how good the drinks are, it’s about the friends you drink them with. With that in mind, we are proud to call our friends at The Meat Hook and Ninth Street Espresso our food and coffee partners.

Greenpoint Taproom

In 2017 we had the welcome opportunity to open a second bar in Greenpoint. While the location and the aesthetics are different, the ethos is not. We hope to be the place where friends can come together, and strangers can become friends.

A more intimate venue, Franklin + Kent’s beer program is comprised almost exclusively of Threes beers, both on draft and in package. Equipped with a display fridge showcasing all we have to offer, getting that beer to go is as easy as giving in and drinking it right there. But it’s more than a tasting room outpost. While brewing is our craft, it is not our only passion. We have a fully stocked liquor bar, and our cocktail and wine lists change depending on the season, and on our latest inspiration.

Purslane, an established Brooklyn caterer committed to creating a zero-waste organization, is our food partner in Greenpoint and we’re very pleased to have teamed up with these ingredient-driven, sustainability-minded folk.

Governors Island

For our 2019 inaugural season, the idea was relatively simple: Do what Threes does best. Which is to say, make and share excellent beer in an environment that fosters camaraderie and good times for all. We created an area for food & beverage, relaxation & play, that took advantage of the natural landscape the island provides. We brought games, music and events to our little corner in the shade, and we loved it.

We’ll be back in 2020, and look forward to sharing more information in the Spring, as our vision for year two starts coming to life.
