Renegade Brewing Company

Founded in 2011, Renegade Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded by home brewer and craft beer enthusiast Brian O’Connell in the Santa Fe Arts District of Denver, Colorado. Renegade’s mission is for every gallon of Renegade beer purchased, we donate one gallon of safe water to a person in need.
Renegade is known for brewing non-traditional beer styles that push boundaries in flavor and hops. Beer is more than a beverage to us. Beer is communal. When the founders of Renegade moved around the country from city to city they could always find a new friend at the local brewery. Our hope is that when you find a beer in your hand you look up and find your friends, new and old, surrounding you.
History
In December 2010, a lease was signed on a property at 925 West 9th Avenue and the brewery name was formally changed to Renegade Brewing after deciding that the name Journey Brewing didn’t fit our rebellious nature.
By June 2011, the first pints are served to the public at 925 West 9th Ave in the Santa Fe Arts District. In June 2012, Redacted goes into cans and distribution starts.
In November 2014, Renegade moves production down the street to a 15,000 sq. ft. building at 918 West 1st Avenue, and by November 2015, the brewery has doubled its production capacity. Additional equipment is added in April 2016, raising the overall production to 7,500 bbls. In May of 2018, equipment is added again, and production increases to 11,000 bbls.

Proud to Support Independent Craft Brewers
For years, small and independent U.S. craft breweries have been turning the beer world upside down. Their ability to take risks, innovate flavors and build better communities has made the U.S. the craft beer capital of the world.
To proudly display that independent spirit, the Brewers Association created a symbol to unify U.S. craft breweries and those who want to support them. This certified mark gives beer lovers an easy way to identify independent craft beer.
