Innis & Gunn

Since its foundation in 2003 Innis & Gunn has grown to become one of the U.K.’s most successful international craft beer businesses: the number one craft lager in Scotland, the second biggest craft brewer in the U.K. off-trade, the number one imported craft beer in Canada, and continues to be in the top three imported craft beers in Sweden and the U.S.

In 2018 Innis & Gunn achieved its 15th consecutive year of double-digit volume growth, selling 21 million pints of beer in over 30 countries with a portfolio including its flagship beer The Original, Innis & Gunn Lager, Gunnpowder and Session IPAs, and a successful limited-edition range of barrel-aged beers.

The Innis & Gunn Brewery in Perth is the brand’s home for innovation and barrel-ageing, with plans to build first new large-scale brewery in Edinburgh in 150 years to meet exploding domestic and international demand for its leading brand Innis & Gunn Craft Lager.

Winning over fifty awards in the past decade, Innis & Gunn beers are renowned for quality at home and internationally. Recent wins include Scottish Brewery of the Year and Gold and Silver product medals in the 2019 New York International Beer Competition, and Gold in the 2017 Monde and Scottish Beer Awards.

Innis & Gunn Beer Kitchen in Dundee

We believe pairing great beer with food is a match made in heaven. We pair our beers with fresh, seasonal dishes and we’ve even incorporated the brewing process in our dishes, such as the Barrel Smoked Ox Cheek Chilli, Malted Chicken Burger and Beer Battered Tofish.

Beer is our main focus with our tank fresh lager and craft beer selection however we’ve also got an extensive collection of wines, spirits, and cocktails to suit every palate and pocket.

Our 500 L beer tanks are regularly filled with fresh, unpasteurized Innis & Gunn beer straight from our brewery in Perthshire. Even if you don’t have time to stay, simply grab a Growler to take away!

Innis & Gunn Beer Kitchen on Ashton Lane

Alongside our fantastic food and drinks, we also have our very own craft beer brewery at the heart of Ashton Lane which enables us to create delicious experimental beer on-site, which we serve fresh and direct from our beer tanks. We mash, boil, ferment and then deliver the resulting fresh beer straight to your glass.

Our head brewer, Digger, is always busy creating brilliant beer infusions. Highlights to date include a Marshmallow Milk Stout, Mango IPA and a Chilli and Kumquat infused beer, but who knows what he’s got up his sleeves next… guess you’ll just have to pop in to find out.

We also pair our beers with fresh, seasonal dishes and we’ve even incorporated the brewing process in our dishes, such as the Barrel Smoked Ox Cheek Chilli, Malted Chicken Burger, Beer Battered Tofish and Sticky Toffee Pudding with Wort Syrup.

The Innis & Gunn Brewery in Perth

The Innis & Gunn Brewery in Perth is our home for innovation and barrel-aging. The 20,000 hectoliter capacity brewhouse produces a range of Innis & Gunn core and limited edition beers as well as Inveralmond Brewery cask ales.

The brewery was made possible with the support of our fans and the craft beer community who invested in our BeerBond to raise the funding to buy our first brewery. To thank them we have proudly displayed the names of each of our BeerBond holders on the front of our Barrel Store.
