Elysian Brewing Company

Elysian Brewing was founded in 1996. They have been upending brewing norms ever since. They shake up classic styles, use unusual ingredients, and learn through experimentation. Don’t tell them there are limits. They won’t listen. Their creativity pushes far beyond brewing. Each beer label is made by an in-house team who pull inspiration from design, photography, music, clay, paint, needlepoint, hell even the occasional tattoo.
History
Three-time Large Brewpub of the Year at the Great American Beer Festival, Elysian Brewing Company operates three locations and a production brewery in Seattle, Washington. Known both for classic styles and for flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 500 different recipes since opening in 1996. While Elysian’s brewers use a variety of unusual ingredients, they are seasonally notorious for their pumpkin beers. Each year Elysian hosts the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival, where dozens of different pumpkin beers are poured, some of them from giant pumpkins.
Our first Seattle location, opened in 1996 on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s most populous neighborhood. Elysian Fields, opened in August 2006. Perched next to Seattle’s two sports arenas, Fields seats 400 and packs the house at lunch and on gamedays. Fields has since become an innovation center for our brewers where new beers are brewed each week on the 7 bbl brew. In 2017, our Taproom opened next to our Georgetown brewery.
Capitol Hill Taproom
Capitol Hill has an exterior refresh and upgraded Paul Mueller 15 BBL Three Vessel Brew System. The space has an open-concept brewery, connected indoor/outdoor seating, new lighting, furniture, bar, and shuffleboard. The Brewpub will have 20 rotating taps, brunch on the weekends, and a from-scratch focused menu.
Elysian Fields
Elysian Fields opened in 2006 in the stadium district south of downtown Seattle and in the historical neighborhood of Pioneer Square. The pub is located across the street from Century Link Field and just North of Safeco Field and is built to handle crowds. Fields boasts a 120 ft. oval zinc-topped bar with a 40 tap custom draught tower and a competitive menu prepared by a top-end kitchen and staff. This location is great for game days, business lunches and everyday specialty dining and provides space for meetings, private parties and large events. Elysian Fields usually pours 18 different house-brewed styles and a small selection of guest beers.
Elysian Taproom
Elysian Taproom located in Seattle’s historical Georgetown neighborhood at 5410 Airport Way S, in the North Building of our Airport Way Brewery. Come see our newest location, join us for a beer, and bring the whole family. All ages welcome and dogs are okay, too!
